We specialize in preschool combination Ballet/Tap/Jazz classes and Hip Hop/Jazz/Tumble classes. We believe the performing arts should be fun along with the hard work!
Our lessons are scheduled at a variety of times so that you can book classes for different children to save you hours of driving and waiting time.
We have low pressure recitals that students can perform in if they wish.
All of our teachers have degrees and are professional performers themselves and all very experienced in catering to the needs of new students.
Our year end recitals are held at the beautiful 1400 seat Bloomfield High School Auditorium. We have exciting and entertaining performances by all of our classes. Our shows are a comfortable length for parents, grandparents and young children.
Call us today, drop by or go to our website and you will see why more families in Essex county trust us for dance, voice, music and acting instruction each year more than any other studio.
Why Choose Us?
If most dance, voice, music and acting studios seem to have qualified, friendly teachers, experience teaching children and a big show at the end of the year, aren’t they all pretty much the same? Does it really matter which place you decide to enroll?
There are three things that can make a huge difference in the quality of instruction your child receives and the overall enjoyment and satisfaction of being involved with a performing arts program.
Three things every parent should consider before deciding on a dance, voice, music and acting studio for their child.
1. What Type Of Floor Is Used?
Dance is a very physical activity that requires a lot of jumping. This can put stress on bones and joints. Most dance footwear does not provide any cushioning or support, so the shock of dance movement can place a lot of pressure on the knees and the back of a dancer.
The best way to prevent against potential injury is by choosing a studio with a professional state of the art “floating floor”. That is a dance floor that rests on a system of high-density foam, to absorb the shock of jumping.
Our special floors help reduce the risk of injuries and allow students to dance longer.
2. What Is The Size Of The Class?
If the class has fewer students in it each child will receive more personalized attention, learn more and have more fun. With younger students smaller classes make it easier for a teacher to maintain control over the class and make sure each student understands the concepts and instructions.
Our smaller class sizes make sure that no fundamental concepts are being missed. A smaller class size also allows our teachers to ensure that students are not developing bad habits or improper technique. Our studio limits all of our classes to a maximum of just 12 students per class.
3. Can I Get Immediate Assistance And Help?
We have a very friendly and helpful staff at our front desk during all regular class times, so you can get immediate assistance and help with anything you may need. We also have someone answering calls during non-business hours as well to assist with any questions or issues that may arise.
Ask any dance school or performing arts studio these questions and you will see why more families choose our studio each year than any other. After browsing this site please call us at 973-748-2787 or click on the ‘Contact Us’ tab at the top of the page with any questions you may have about getting the most out of your dance, voice, music and acting experience with BPA!
