Hip-Hop Trampoline! It’s one of BPA’s most fun classes! This popular class is great for developing flexibility. And to improve the student’s coordination. It is the ideal class for your 4-6 year olds! Boys and girls alike love this class. It makes a good alternative for those students who have no interest in the classic forms of dance. If your child is not interested in Ballet or Tap. This is the perfect combination class for them. This class combines the basics of Hip Hop and Jazz movement. It also will explore the beginnings of trampoline work and acrobatics.
The class will start with a basic hip hop warm up. Starting with simple isolations of the body. Moving from the top of their heads. Then progressing down to their feet. They will also do various stretching exercises. This will, over time, increase their flexibility. Stretching should be done daily if possible.
During the Hip Hop section of the class they will learn stylized movements. These movements are motivated by contemporary music. All music choices are age appropriate.
The trampoline portion of the class will involve a mini trampoline placed on mats for safety. The mini trampoline is used to give the young dancer the feel of jumping and rebounding. The instructors will be holding the students hands at all times. This is a unique and valuable tool toward the more advanced jumps and tricks they will be executing in future classes. The progress that your children will make in this class will be amazing. You will see a significant improvement. They will start the class as a beginner.
